Solar panel wattage represents a solar panel's theoretical power production under ideal sunlight and temperature conditions.
The amount of electricity a solar panel produces depends on three important factors:
- Size of the panel.
- Efficiency of the solar cells inside.
- Amount of sunlight the panel gets.
For Example:
A 20 Watt Solar Street Light has a battery capacity of 60 AH and 3.2 Volts, that is 190 Watt Hours. Normal sunlight should be sufficient to charge the battery as it needs to generate 3.2 volts power.
